RETURNS

We do not offer refunds on items bought in store. If the item is returned within 14 days of the original purchase we will reimburse the customer with store credit of the same amount, which can be used within 1 year. The cost of returning the item to House of Møbel is covered by the customer. Please note, if the item in question has had custom reupholstery or restoration, or has been damaged, it is non-refundable.

Items bought online or over the phone, without being seen in person, come with a standard 14 day ‘cooling off’ period, from the moment of purchase, whereby the customer is entitled to a full refund (excluding delivery charges) so long as the item is returned in the same condition. If the item has had custom reupholstery, it is non-refundable.

Our vintage furntiure is sold as seen or descibed. We always attempt to describe any faults, but customers should expect some signs of age and use and can request a condition report and extra photos ahead of purchase.

If an item has been put on hold and a 10% deposit has been paid to secure said item this deposit will not be refunded if the buyer has a change of mind. A deposit is taken as security for the buyer's performance of the contract.

Finally, we accept no responsibility for Items, which have been purchased but not collected or delivery negotiated from House of Møbel within 30 days.

SHIPPING

Small items and accessories (ceramics, glassware, lifestyle goods etc.) are shipped using Royal mail or DPD. This cost is calculated and added at checkout. 

Furniture delivery cost is added as a flat rate at checkout and varies according to the customer’s delivery address and the size of the piece of furniture. Delivery within the local area of Somerset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire will cost £45 for smaller pieces (armchairs, dining chairs, small cabinets, coffee tables etc) and £65 for larger pieces (bookcases, sofas, sideboards, dining tables etc). Delivery anywhere else in Mainland UK will cost £75 for smaller pieces and £95 for larger pieces. We offer a one-man delivery service, assuming the customer is able to assist the driver with unloading and carrying into the ground floor. Once delivery is booked in we will be in touch to make the customer aware of their delivery date and estimated time.
